Talent show
I've heard a million beautiful words about you, but none of them are as lovely as you are. The potential of children is unlimited, not only can they absorb the stories they learn in class and form their own understanding, but they can also be guided to shine a different light on stage. In this talent show, the Year 2 students were led by their teachers to put on a vivid performance of a short story they had learnt.
Everything was so lively and interesting as everyone wore their own costumes and spoke different lines.
Every child is a natural performer. Give them a small stage and they will be able to express themselves and shine their best light, and they will be the brightest star on the stage.
Learning can be more than just reading texts and copying sentences over and over again. We really want to have fun and learn, and to work together. To communicate and go further together. It is difficult to acquire all these qualities in the classroom alone, but we strive to let the students get to know and participate in the world in a different way.
Childhood is short, but the future is long, and nothing is as beautiful as the way we all look when we perform. You may not be exceptional, but you must have something to look forward to. May you grow up to be as good as you are on stage!
