苏科外和苏科中现有外籍教师65人，来自全球 23 个国家，美国、英国、加拿大、新西兰等英语为母语的人数占比约67.7%，他们均拥有学士及以上学位，其中硕士、博士占总体约 17%。我们的外籍教师教育背景强大，其中不乏伦敦大学学院、雷丁大学、诺丁汉大学、马来亚大学等名校毕业生，不仅如此，他们教学经验也很丰富，平均教龄约9.6 年以上。外教以其卓越的教育教学成果，屡获政府殊荣，其中6人入选苏州市柔性引进海外人才智力“海鸥计划”项目，1名外教荣获苏州市首届优秀外籍教师称号。在苏科外和苏科中，约 52%的外籍教师担任外方班主任，为学生们提供浸润式的双语环境，同时科学、数学、生物、艺术、音乐、体育等学科和岗位的教学也都有外教的身影。

There are currently 65 foreign teachers at SSFLS (Suzhou Science and Technology Foreign Language School) and SSFLHS (Suzhou Science and Technology Foreign Language High School), hailing from 23 countries across the globe. Around 67.7% are native English‑speaking nationals from countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand. All hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, with masters and doctoral degree holders accounting for approximately 17% of the total.

Our foreign teachers boast strong academic credentials, including graduates from prestigious institutions such as University College London, the University of Reading, the University of Nottingham and the University of Malaya. In addition, they bring extensive teaching experience, with an average teaching tenure of over 9.6 years.

Recognised for outstanding teaching performance, many have received official municipal honours. Six foreign teachers have been admitted to Suzhou’s overseas talent flexible‑introduction programme “Seagull Project”, and one was awarded the title of Suzhou’s First Outstanding Foreign Teacher.

At SSFLS and SSFLHS, roughly 52% of foreign teachers serve as international homeroom teachers, delivering an immersive bilingual environment for students. Foreign teachers also cover teaching roles across subjects including Science, Mathematics, Biology, Art, Music and Physical Education.
