MYP Field Trips connected with MYP Statement of Inquiry

12月7日,我们进行了题为“MYP与探究陈述相关的研学之旅。

本单元的探究主题是从秦汉到南北朝的发展成就,尤其是丝绸之路兴起与发展促进了古代经济全球化。本次研学之旅从文化方面探究了秦汉时期儒学的文化发展,尤其是儒教在西汉武帝时期被作为中国的正统思想,影响了中国文化和中国政治制度两千多年,并同时远播东南亚,在世界思想史上产生了深远的影响。

同学们参观了苏州状元博物馆,了解了中国传统的考试制度,以及中国的官僚制度,正好与目前所学内容秦汉时期的成就相契合。本次参观同学们不见了解了中国的官僚制度,以及考试制度,更对儒家对中国产生的深远影响有了更深刻的了解。本次研学还加强了同学们的爱国主义教育,我们从走了主席路,了解了主席视察苏州平江街区是的情况。此外,我们还参观了苏州评弹博物馆,让同学们对评弹这一中国非物质文化遗产有了更深刻的了解,通过本次活动加深了了同学们对自己家乡文化财富的了解。

     今后,IB MYP将开展更多的研学活动,使同学们将课本知识转化为实践知识,帮助同学们学以致用,加强知识的迁移和实际应用能力。

 

On December 7th, we embarked on a research journey titled "MYP and Exploratory Statements.".

The theme of this unit is to explore the development achievements from the Qin and Han dynasties to the Southern and Northern Dynasties, especially the rise and development of the Silk Road, which promoted ancient economic globalization. This study tour explored the cultural development of Confucianism during the Qin and Han dynasties from a cultural perspective. In particular, Confucianism was regarded as the orthodox ideology of China during the reign of Emperor Wu of the Western Han dynasty, influencing Chinese culture and political system for more than two thousand years. At the same time, it spread to Southeast Asia and had a profound impact on world intellectual history.

The students visited the Suzhou Top Scholar Museum and learned about the traditional examination system and bureaucratic system in China, which is in line with the achievements of the Qin and Han dynasties that they have learned so far. The students who visited this time did not gain a deeper understanding of China's bureaucratic system and examination system, but also gained a deeper understanding of the profound influence of Confucianism on China. This study also strengthened the patriotic education of our classmates. We learned about the Chairman's inspection of the Pingjiang District in Suzhou by following the Chairman's path. In addition, we also visited the Suzhou Pingtan Museum, which gave students a deeper understanding of Pingtan, a Chinese intangible cultural heritage. Through this activity, we deepened their understanding of the cultural wealth of their hometown.

In the future, IB MYP will carry out more research and learning activities, enabling students to transform textbook knowledge into practical knowledge, helping students apply what they have learned, and strengthening their knowledge transfer and practical application abilities.
