In the IB G2 UOI 2 "Where we are in place and time" unit theme, we focus on "architecture", where children design characteristic architectural models through a variety of materials, and we walk into the ancient city of Gusu outside the classroom. The ancient city of Suzhou is still a vast community, where millions of people live. Designed and built about a thousand years ago, we learn how our ancestors took advantage of the river's water to build their eco-friendly homes and transport their goods. In the autumn afternoon, the children measure the autumn with their feet, explore the ancient buildings with their eyes, and listen to the stories with their ears...
