SSFLS offers a comprehensive education that is based on conceptual exploration and actively encourages a wholistic approach to learning. These programmes are designed to encompass a variety of disciplines and to challenge students to think critically and creatively.

The SSFLS Fusion 2 department is home to a unique group of teachers from all over the world who have come together because of their shared dreams and dedication to education.
Over the years, the school has actively recruited a wide range of professionals from across the globe, and this has resulted in an ever-growing number of outstanding individuals joining the department. They appreciate and support each other, creating a culture that is uniquely their own.
Seema Paul(Head of IB/Director of MYP)
我们很高兴Seema Paul回到我们的学校。她拥有超过20年的国际学校管理经验,曾为新加坡、印度和中国的多所IB PYP、MYP和DP项目授权。
We are glad to have Seema Paul return to our school. She has more than 20 years of experience as an administrator for international schools. She has led schools from candidacy to authorization in IB PYP, IB MYP and IB DP at Singapore, India and in China as well.
Vanessa Pfoehler(Coordinator of PYP)
Vanessa在中国有超过13年的PYP教师和PYP协调员经验。她是IB工作坊的官方负责人、课程授权团队成员和课程评估项目负责人,曾与中国、澳大利亚、日本、缅甸和印度尼西亚的学校合作。
Vanessa has more than 13 years experience as a PYP teacher and PYP coordinator in China. She is an official IB workshop leader, IB authorization team member and IB evaluation programme leader, and has worked with schools in China, Australia, Japan, Myanmar and Indonesia.

多元课程,促全面发展
融合二部PYP课程在国家课程的基础上,超学科主题领域的探索是课程的核心。我们是谁——健康的生活方式对生活的影响;我们身处什么时空——迁徙涉及到的挑战与机遇;世界如何运作——我们利用力与运动之间的关系进行创造。
The PYP curriculum is a dynamic fusion of the national curriculum and focuses on transdisciplinary exploration. Students explore themes such as “Who Are We?” — the impact of healthy living; “Where We are in Place and Time” — the challenges and opportunities of migration; and “How the World Work?” — how we use forces and motion to create and invent.
孩子们在主题探究下,根据自己的所得所想打破学科与环境间、学科与学科间的壁垒,从概念出发,多语言,多渠道构建以学生为核心的学习型社区。我们以世界为课本,将教室搬到室外,校园外,让学习在真实的世界中发生。
Through an inquiry approach, students have the opportunity to break down boundaries between academic subjects and contexts, and within subjects themselves. They are encouraged to use multiple languages and sources to construct student-centered learning experiences based on their own findings and reflections.
多元活动,育健全人格
活动是培养学生的载体。帐篷夜、文学周、中国文化日、数学嘉年华、外出实地考察、单元结题展......在一系列孩子们喜爱又丰富的课程活动中,我们塑造知识渊博、关爱他人、勇于挑战的个体与社区。
As students grow, their need for engaging and educational activities increases. Through various activities, such as camp night, literature week, Chinese culture day, math carnival, and field trips, students have the opportunity to gain knowledge, become more caring and open-minded, and develop into well-rounded individuals. Such activities also provide an avenue for students to gain invaluable experiences, expand their horizons, and grow as members of the community. With each event children gain more insight into their own capabilities, as well as the world around them. Through these activities, students are able to cultivate a better understanding of the world and their place in it.
