令人惊叹的研究成果展,来自五年级的孩子们

夏日悠悠,万物生长。沿着同学们的足迹;研究可持续发展目标。探索生命真谛;维护地球发展,成为IB learners,培养优秀的世界公民。


融合二部五年级学生们在老师的指导下,围绕“可持续发展目标”进行深度探索与思考,展示了一场令人惊叹的研究成果展,为小学PYP项目划上圆满句点,也为即将开始的初中MYP项目打下了坚实的基础!



Provocation 启发


在项目开展的第一周,我们进行了创意启发——模拟场景:让学生们带上“医疗装备”通过一条布满“鳄鱼”的河流去救援河对面村庄的百姓。经过多次尝试,终于取得了成功。


In the first week we provided a provocation for the Exhibition project.This involved engaging the students in a challenging activity that required both logical thought and imagination to fully participate and solve the problem.We tried and failed, tried and failed and tried again before meeting success.

活动之后,学生们总结反思这项活动和他们解决问题的方式,并谈论了他们用来帮助村民的技能,如良好的沟通、耐心、倾听他人的意见等。


Students then discussed the activity and the way in which they solved the problem, they talked about the skills they had used to help them, such as good communication, being patient, listening to others, etc.

Transdisciplinary Theme and Central Idea

超学科主题和中心思想


通过活动,学生意识到他们行为的初衷是帮助他人,因此学生们将“我们是谁“定为超学科主题,“好的团队合作影响整个社会”定为中心思想。


When reflecting on the skills they needed for achieving success the students created the central idea; Good teamwork and collaboration impact the society.

Connecting to the Sustainable Development Goals

与可持续发展目标相结合


学生们对可持续发展目标提出疑问并选择自己感兴趣的方向,将提出的问题进行了分类,确定探究线索与可持续发展目标相结合。学生们选择的可持续发展目标分别是:No Poverty, Life on land, Life below water, Reduce inequalities and Climate Action.


We then sorted through the questions to identify which questions would better help us to learn. Having identified good, learning questions students’ organized them according to their understandings of the SDG’s. (Sustainable Development Goals) They are using a simple template to encourage accurate record keeping and to remind them to summarize their findings…using their own words to show their understandings.

The Process 过程


学生们努力思考可持续发展目标。他们将中心思想与他们最感兴趣的目标联系起来,每个学生都制定了与他们的兴趣相一致的调查路线。学生们进行了研究、实验和实地考察,以加深对这些主题的理解。


Students worked hard thinking about the Sustainable Development Goals. They connected their central idea to the goals that they were most interested in and each student developed lines of inquiry aligned to their interests.They then undertook research, experimentation and field trips to broaden their understanding of the topics.

学生们将搜索到的信息进行分类,并选择他们认为在成果展中最重要的数据。围绕选定的概念,他们采取了创造性、沉浸式和互动式的方式,向观众展示他们的发现。


This led to students sorting through the information and selecting the data they felt was most important to present at the exhibition event. Focusing on the selected concepts they developed creative, immersive and interactive ways of engaging with the audience to present their findings.

学生们一直全力以赴地为他们的成果展做准备,他们在探究中展现出的坚持、决心、协作和独立等优秀品质令人欣喜。在这个和谐的学习社区中,学校老师、家长和导师全力支持学生取得成功。


It was a pleasure to witness the persistence, determination, collaboration and independence with which students navigated their way through their inquiries and prepared for their big day. It was also a pleasure to see the whole school working as a learning community as teachers, parents and mentors worked hard to support students in achieving success.

Mentor Meetings 导师会议


学生们向导师们介绍了他们感兴趣的领域和调查线索。导师们报名支持学生感兴趣的领域,为研究想法提供了一个更广阔的平台和专业的支持,并促使学生合理安排时间,及时完成研究任务,并考虑如何在成果展中展示自己的学习成果。


Students posted their areas of interest and lines of inquiry to the school staff. Mentors signed up to support students in areas of interest, providing a sounding board for research ideas and prompting students to organize their time, complete research tasks in a timely manner and begin to consider how they would show their learning at the exhibition event.

Field Trip 外出探究


学生结合自身可持续发展目标前往阳澄湖进行实地考察,探究阳澄湖水域水质情况,研究阳澄湖植被覆盖情况。在采访当地农民和渔民后,学生对种植业、养殖业有了更深程度的理解。


According to their own sustainable development goals, students went out to Yangcheng Lake to explore the water quality and study the vegetation coverage of Yangcheng Lake. They interviewed local farmers and fishermen, and had a deeper understanding of farming and breeding.

The Exhibition 成果展


成果展当天,学生以多种形式呈现自己的研究结果。这次成果展是学习过程的高潮,包括学生演讲,以及使用辅助材料展示他们的学习。


The exhibition event was the culmination of the learning process. It involved students sharing their learning verbally and showing their learning through the use of support materials.

学生们在使用视觉媒体来支持他们的演讲方面做得很出色。他们通过艺术作品、海报、模型和创意装置向观众展示了自己的概念。研究水下生物的朱尚彦同学与大家分享不同深度的海洋生物,汇报阳澄湖地区水质检测报告;号召拒绝贫穷的蒲昱豪为无家可归的人制作了一个庇护所;探索气候变化的焦子洛建造了风力模型,并在枯树上书写了他的环保宣言;保护陆地生物的居然重现动物囚禁,将人造肉与动物肉相对比,宣扬环保主义;严峙宣扬拒绝不平等,拒绝性别不平等、肤色不平等、经济不平等......


The students did a remarkable job of using visual media to support their presentations. They made their concepts clear to the audience through artwork, posters, models and creative installations. We had homeless shelters, a water quality testing station, a food tasting station and a 'Cage Experience.' Students will be using the data they collected in their reflections on the exhibition and their findings should inform their understanding of the topics they covered.

The students should be proud of themselves; they presented their learning in a creative and effective manner. They worked hard independently and in collaboration to fill the exhibition area. A successful and memorable event for all involved, well done grade 5 students!

融合二部五年级学生家长说:“这是非常成功的一次家校合作,我们所有的努力,都是为了让孩子登上更广阔的舞台,闪闪发光!”

在盛大的典礼和精彩的成果展示中,融合二部五年级的学生为自己PYP学习阶段画上圆满的句号。每个孩子都在国家课程的基础上,进行了学科主题领域的探索,触摸了多元活动带来的挑战,收获了令人喜悦的成长和发展。


苏科外将继续坚持以国家基础课程标准夯实孩子的华夏根基、家国情怀以融合跨学科探究的理念和框架培养孩子的国际视野和领袖胸襟,为博慧学子开辟更广阔的世界,让他们在多元的学习环境中成长为真正的终身学习者!
